I've been kicking around for ages waiting to get my internet back. As you can probably see, I'm back now with a penchant for Panic! At The Disco.
A few things have happened on the musical front, actually. Rock night is 16th of May, and I have a fully functioning band backing me up. There's Adam (my man-whore) on the drums, Anna on rhythm guitar, Eddyweed on the bass, and me on vocals and lead guitar. Plus, I've been asked to sing bo-rap (Bohemian Rhapsody) for a school musical called 'Broken Down Angel'. So things are working out for me at the moment.
I have a new baby brother called Oliver James Keighley. He's nearly four weeks old and has just learned how to smile. Apart from that, he doesn't do anything but eat, sleep, scream and poop. Oh well.
So what bands are everyone into at the moment? I've recently got into The Raconteurs, The Fratellis, We Are Scientists, My Chemical Romance and Panic! At The Disco. Green Day are still my number one, though. I still have to get Kerplunk!, but then my collection is complete.
I have a new feature - Band Of The Week. So here goes.
WE ARE SCIENTISTS
Nobody seems to know where W.A.S come from exactly, so let's just say America.
Apparently famous in the good old USA, but I seem to be their only fan over here.
Their latest album is called 'In Love And Squalor', featuring 'Nobody Move, Nobody Get Hurt'. They no use good grammar.
They played at Reveal Records, a fab music joint in the neighbouring city, on Wednesday 3rd. Unfortunately the gig was at one o'clock in the afternoon, in the middle of my maths exam, so I couldn't make it. Which is a shame since it was probably a once in a lifetime chance.
So without further ado, I reveal their brilliant (if surreal) new video, Nobody Move, Nobody Get Hurt.
